Clip Foam Suggestions?

I used this foam as clip foam in college (10 years ago!) to make a puppet.  It was fantastic stuff!  Not too porous.  Thick, but not too thick.  I'm having a hard time remembering what kind it is.  I almost think it was used as some kind of filter.  It came wrapped in plastic I believe in individual wrappers.Any idea what this is?  Or tips on what else to use?  I don't like green upholstery foam, I want something that won't absorb that much.Let me know if you know!  Or have…See More
