The tiny hairs on my forearms are prickling - no lie!
Laika is doing it again.
Just like they sent out Coraline boxes to various bloggers (including Yours Truly - thank you Laika!!) they've been busy sending out individually numbered crates filled with dirt and moss and coffins - with goodies inside. So cool! If you do a search for ParaNorman crate or ParaNorman box you can find several blogs with pictures revealing what they got - in some cases complete zombie puppets! I've only briefly skimmed a couple so far - got too excited and had to immediately pop in here and post about it!!
Yep - those folks at Laika sure do know how to generate a spine-chilling buzz!

I don't suppose the $237.50 they are likely to make from the miniscule Australian box office justifies one of those coming downunder to a deserving stopmo supporter...

I've been seeing these all over. So are these given to friends of Laika?
Not friends - they're sent to people who run cool blogs basically, on subjects similar to stopmotion or in some way stopmo-related. They want to send them to bloggers so it serves as advertising - then the bloggers will post pics or video of uncrating the treasure so lots of other people can see - much better than sending them to individuals who won't share the joy with the rest of the internet.
Hmmm ... Stop Motion Works on the internet 10+ years
lol yep - your uncle definitely deserves him a nice mouldering zombie..
Wait, that didn't come out right..
I sense a conspiracy.
These things are beautiful arent they? I might start a blog JUST to get one! :)
.. a blog about ZOMBIES perhaps?
Whoa...those look beautiful~ <----my exact face when I saw the pics.
So are these given out to just people who run professional blogs? Or are the gift receivers chosen at random?
I've been having fun (jealously) reading about the exhumations. It seems that, in addition to blogs, special fans and a few celebrities have received them as well.
This is my favorite (and one of the more detailed unearthings that I've found.
Seth Green,a celebrity famous for 'Robot Chicken' (among many other things), recently received his.
