Hey! I'm Natalie.

I live in Seattle and am graduating from the University of Washington with a BFA in Photomedia. I got on this website to connect with the stop-motion animators of the world since I feel pretty alone at my college. I don't know anyone really that is a stop-motion animator! SAD :( Anywho, I hope to get a MFA in animation in the future. I love to learn knew things and am incredibly passionate about animation and it's complexity. It's been really great connecting with everyone on here, feel free to follow me on Instagram @lighteningboltnatalie . LET'S BE FRIENDS!

"Thanks for that info, Nick. I bought a bug-catcher intending to modify it into a flocking gun, but haven't got round to it yet, so it's definitely worth knowing it can be used for hair too."

"I've used flocking on a silicone puppet.  Instead of the pva based flocking adhesive, I paint on some wet silicone, the same type that the puppet is cast in.  The flock sticks to that the same way.  It does not need to be water…"
