Oooo, is that a hint of a plot I see there?
Plot? I couldnt look past the gorgeous Bokeh in the window lights...
Hey, I learned a new word! Thanks!
Hmm... I don't think this gives away anything about plot, but you can see a bit of this: http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2012/09/posing-framing-one-character...
And thanks Dave - I was in the process of searching ebay for lenses with great bokeh characteristics and discovered I already have one sitting in my plastic tub-o-lenses!
Ah - Dan, I'll bet you just glanced at the title (before learning what bokeh means) and thought it said window broken wide open? Hmm... an intersting thought, but no, the plot doesn't involve the window being broken. Now that you brought it up though, it does suggest some good scenarios. Think I'll stick with what I already got though, thanks.
Actually, I was reacting to the characters. Their poses suggest numerous scenarios, one of which I suspect is close to what you have going on.
Great composition, by the way. Excellent use of the whole frame. As Stanley Kubrick once said, "an empty spot can say just as much as a crowded one."
Thanks. Yeah, notice this is #6 - the rest were framed much tighter, and the lights outside were much brighter to the point of completely distracting attention away from the characters - so I hung a sheet of ND in front of them. I do have a tendencty to frame too tight - got to remember to give them some headroom so they can be comfortable!
