I'm about to dive into the world of Stop Motion. I'm starting by using Stop Motion Studio on an iPhone SE.
I'm looking for an affordable table-top tripod to hold the phone. I will be shooting horizontally to start with. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I've also tried to get the volume control on my Bluetooth headphones to take each photo, but can't get it to work. Has anyone else had this issue?
There are plenty of clamp devices for iPhones and iPads that attach to any standard tripod. I have one for my iPhone SE, picked up from some discount store for $9.99. I have only used it on a tripod that stands on the floor though. It can go on any of my tripods, so it also could go on a tabletop one that has the normal camera mount screw. Table-top tripods are usually pretty cheap, don't have one myself since I feel better having the camera separate from the set I am animating on - less likely to knock or jiggle it.
The SE is not my normal camera for animating, I use a Canon DSLR with Dragonframe usually, but I did test the free version of Stop Motion Studio some time ago and it worked well and did what you need.
