Hey Folks,

I thought you might like to see the excellent armature commissioned for my latest film. It was created by Juergen Kling. I'm currently looking for a U.K based animator to animate it.

nice !!!

If that what was inside of a crab I think I would starve to death with all the seafood I eat. Nice job. I would want one of those as is to just sit on my shelf.

Thanks guys,

It is a fight scene, can't say much more here.

John

Thats amazing! :-)

Lovely!  Too bad I am in the states.

John O'Lone's film with the crab (and a few other stopmo creatures), Legend of the Golden Fishcake, was completed and released last year.  Apart from the animation scenes,  it has an intelligent script and great characters, and an understated British sense of humour that really appealed to me.  (Think, Ken Loach realism meets Ray Harryhausen fantasy.)  It can be purchased and downloaded here: http://legendofthegoldenfishcake.vhx.tv

Hey Adam, as Nick said (hi Nick!) you are a bit late to the party. I hope you enjoy the film anyway. Members of this forum can use the code JOHNISDREAMY for a 30 percent discount.

Haha, didn't notice the date stamped at the top.  I just saw this pop up now.  I'll check it out. Thanks for the discount code.

A thing of beauty! I also worked on this film... my scene was just a bit part that's right about in the middle of the film. It's a proud work. :)

I thought you lot might like to see the final crab in action. I had planned to do this for all the creatures but my second daughter was just born and everything grinds to a halt. Maybe someday. Anyway, enjoy!
