My wife (and me too) really likes these. I've yapped enough about stop-motion that she likes that someone is laughing about it with us.
I like how they are Clay Actors. But watch out, it's only a matter of time before they form a union.
Hi Nick -
Too late! They've already formed a union and they constantly remind me of that. Like the clay actor at the end of this film. :-)
How To Change Your World
Thanks Adam! Nice to know that someone besides me is laughing at this nonsense.
Love them. You should make them into a calendar!
That never occurred to me. What a great idea!
Yep they are fun!
Just a thought. I wonder if the captions could work better if you left out 'clay actor', as we can see that? Concise is generally more punchy, so e.g. "Wendy, being the consummate professional, gladly removed her own head so the director could get a better angle on the magazine." We also see that she is holding the magazine, so this is not needed in the caption either.
"While the crew slept, Dwayne's cheeks held that tortured smile all night. He just couldn't stretch to another expression."
Interesting point Simon. As a general rule I also prefer brevity, but I have put in the repetitive information because I've been posting these on Facebook for the past year or so, and if it's the first time someone sees them, they may not understand the idea that I wish to portray these characters as working individuals who, like the rest off us, are just trying to get by. But now I'll consider that more carefully when creating new ones. The things I'm posting here were all created a while ago, but thanks for the feedback Simon!
