This showreel contains clips of the last three stop motion films I worked on + an animation test made during my work experience at Aardman in August 2013. Some scenes are from my newest film 'Moonbird' which I am still finishing the post production of.

Music used is 'Brisa del Valle' by AthyelectricHarper, from 'Luz del Alma' album.

That fox is really great!  I'm very curious how you made him.  How did you get the face to look like it was made of fabric? Did you use a felting technique or flocking? Or something else?  Really nice!

Thanks. The fox his body was made furry using needle felting techniques. The head is sculpey, but I glued some of the powder snow we used for the set to his head and then painted that, and glued some tiny bits of the needle felting wool in places like his ear, up on his neck and under his chin I believe.
He is very tiny and the wire in his legs broke while animating the last shots, but because he was so light he was nice to animate.

Great work, well done. I especially liked the human/animation interaction with the Moon Bird.

I was also very interested by the fox as I'm currently working on a short film using needle felted characters.
