Looks nice. I think the leg needs to extend fully so it is straight at the furthest point forward, then contact the ground with the heel. Then you can give it a feel of weight as it bears down and stays flat while in contact. Would be good to see it with the leg moving forward across the table rather than scraping a static table. The problem you have at the moment is that it does not look like the leg is supporting anything. If you want to keep the leg static in the frame, try using a piece of board under it and moving that along so the food stays in the same place on the board.

Thank you Simon !

I should have said in the description that it was more a test for the knee articulation than a walking test. That's why I chose to make a static and looped animation rather than having the leg walking one way. A few months ago I was wondering how to build this puppet without having stones bending or changing shape (here's the discussion).

That being said, you're absolutely right about the weight of the giant and that it feels like the leg is not supporting anything. It's an important part and I'll have to work on it.

I thought about the full extention of the leg but my character will always stand like he does in the sculpture : with a hunched back and the bent knees as he's fighting against a powerful wind. So I decided to reduce the extention to avoid the gaps between the stones.

Got it! In that case it's working really well. What have you used for the stones around the knee?

It's all SuperSculpey Firm on brass tubes. And because it was a bit old and really firm I mixed it with some white Fimo. I'll put pictures so you can see.
