Allison tries to cope after the strange incident from last night.
Nice work. Many of the shots worked quite well to create a distinct mood, and the timing worked well to create an uneasy tension. The animation of the hair as the car passed was particularly nice as well. Overall, I really enjoyed this. Any plans for a continuation?
A really interesting concept, and a great feel to this!
One minor criticism, when she is lying down on the bed there is no sense of weight, because the body remains stiff, with daylight between her and the mattress. You need to really push puppets down to get them to sit down or lie down well.
But everything else, great stuff! Animation is good, with a real sense of acting from the puppet, and the direction/editing works really well.
Thank you! I do plan to continue this story, and I hope to have the next episode up soon. I see what you're talking about StopmoNick. I think I'll build a sturdier bed so I can really press her down when she lies down in it. Thank you for pointing that out, this series is for fun but also meant to help me get better at stop motion.
Oh, you - here? ^__^ As I mentioned once before I can't wait to see more of this and I hope that you will get your deserved attention later on. What are you thinking about some music? I think that there are some moments which would work better with it ;)
Music is always tricky. most of the films I do are done solo and it's hard to find someone to do music I want for a price I can afford, and royalty free music rarely has the sound I'm looking for. So for now, I'm usually looking for a way to create the atmosphere without music when I can.
The musician Moby, has made a website which contains a vast catalogue of music, which is free to use for indie and NFP film makers. http://www.mobygratis.com
If your film does make any money, then a percentage of the profit goes to charity.
Thank you Anthony, I had no idea this was available. I'll need to start going through what's on that site.
And of course there is this great site, although I'm pretty sure that you already knew it...
