I'm working on learning to make silicone puppets, and had a reasonably successful experiment embedding armature wire inside the face to allow for posable expression -- got some pics of the process here.
Subsequent trials will have the wire embedded closer to the skin's surface (the "lower lid" wires especially are difficult to reach), and have more of the wire hugging the surface contour (the rounded loops are serviceable, but it's harder to put in any nuance for more complex expressions).
Will you be posting an animation test shot?
At some point in the process, yes. I might wait until I do another face, applying the lessons learned from this one.
That succession of pitures almost is animation!! Fun!
I think the camera got bumped somewhere in there. You can fix that in post, right?
