Happy Holidays. I'm an animation producer who loves finding talent in non-tradional ways. As such, I'm looking for animators for several upcoming projects in early 2014. Feel free to reach out directly trever.stewart@gmail.com and feel free to spread the word!

Where are you located, and is it possible for an animator to work remotely and send you the footage or do you need them in your studio, working on your set?

If you are in LA, for example, and you are only interested in animators who can work on the premises,  that eliminates me and 90% of the professional animators I know.

A few of us have been working on international films where the animation has been composited together from half a dozen animators living in different countries, so it's perfectly feasible for some kinds of projects. Especially for Dynamation type films with stopmotion added to live action, but it can also apply to some purely puppet films. It can also work if some scenes are in a different setting, so those sets can be in several studios anywhere in the world.   But there are productions where you do want everyone under one roof, where the director and DoP can do the rounds of every stage each morning, and puppets can go to any set that needs them that day.
