Test for ship propulsion Mat. The 3D will represent 60% of the film. It is a personal choice and a practical choice. The purist will stop motion disappointed. My knowledge is very limited 3d. But still I managed to get a result that pleases me. In fact, my biggest challenge for this project and achieve almost tell a story without words. For that, I’m not going to focus on a single technique. I love stop motion magic this technique to keep from the original film. I do not like the real long movies with real actors. They bore me. They contain more for me, magic long ago. 3d, it gives me the neccessary space to tell the story. If I were to build the ship mast, it will 3 meters high and 6 meter long. My apartment is 60m2 and I peus that conssacrer 10m2 for the moment in my project. With my 3D software and my computer, I have an entire universe of available. Of course, all Difficulty is to keep the magic of stop motion in a 3d world. Finally, at the end of ends, art is just to erase a story.
