best material for body forms

so folks, what are we using for block forms in armatures currently?I'm making quite a complex, multi-armed piece, using joints from a few different kits. I'm screwing the ball joints into balsa wood blocks but its not really up to the job. What material is as light but less crumbly, and strong and easy to work with? Some sort of carbon fibre? Resin? Plastic blocks?suggestions welcomed!See More
