Wire Armature Question

If' I'm making a wire armature of a triceratops, how would I go about creating the head with the frill for either a build up method or foam casting ?  Thanks.Continue

"Hey, I'd probably wrap extra wire around the end of the neck wire, curve it around so it loops back on itself, tie it off with more wraps of wire, then Epoxy it -a glob of the putty type would work."

Don't know if people are aware but besides Kathi Zung's foam rubber puppet making dvd, there is now Larry Larson's ball and socket armature construction dvd and Stan Winston's school has a lot a terrific dvd's on makeup and monster creation (the Garage Monster dvds 1 and 2 are well suited for animation models).
