Thanks for the tips about the fiberglass and the athletic tape. I will definitely look into the latter. Looking forward to seeing your ape in action. I am planning a gorilla model myself. I am going to try my hand at replicating Kong 33. I know it won't look exactly like him, but I hope to get in the ball park.
