Hendrikus De Vaan replied to StampMotionStudio's discussion Needing lights for stop motion
"I like par 15 cans personally. I think the light itself is less important than the bulbs and lighting modification you're using. If you get some basic Par cans and maybe a fresnel or two, then a lot can be achieved with barn doors, diffs, gels,…"

Hendrikus De Vaan replied to Hendrikus De Vaan's discussion Anyone else excited about the mirrorless camera support coming to Dragonframe?
"Yeah, it's halfway between 480p and 720p, so pretty good still. Mind you, that's what the Canons have been giving us for a while now. That being said, it opens up a whole new world of sensor choices, depending on which cameras will be…"

"I wouldn't worry too much about breaking the HDMI. Considering it's one of the most used cameras in indie documentary work, it should be fine. I'm pretty gentle with my gear though so YMMV."
