Handmade sweater

This is a hand made sweater that I just bought at a rummage sale. This will be perfect for my next puppet which is going to be of me. I want to experiment with making a realistic(ish) person.

This is it. I decided to get a doll stand for support and display. My wife mentioned that I should show less gums, so covered some of the upper gum. I am pretty happy with it and stuff.

Suggestions for body fabrication

I recently bought some foam for the body... I am struggling because my character (monster) is going to be plump. It seems as though the very core of the body should be a harder material than foam. I am planning on covering the exterior of the creature with felted wool. I am very interested in suggestions and or some video/photo tutorials.
