"I would stick with after effects. Everything Nick just said. Export as an image sequence (or quicktime) at full quality which will lock in your masking to your originals. Then import that back into after effects and "reinterpret footage"…"

"I think this will work... If you imported a sequence of images into AE, so you did your fx work on every frame, you can export an image sequence at the same frame rate. Don't export a movie file, as it will have the frame rate embedded in it.…"

Hi,So I've been doing rig removal and other corrections to my shots in after effects. I created several projects and did quite a bit of work before I realized that my composition frame rates were set to 30 frames per second, and the image sequences I had imported were being interpreted at 30 fps as well. So when I exported my final videos they played back much faster then they should. When I changed my comp settings and reinterpreted my footage to 24 fps it threw off the timing of all my masks,…See More
