Here's a turnaround of the almost finished armature. All he needs are some hands, and I'll be making some kind of custom armature for his hat, too.

You're welcome ;) How long did that took you to do?

Difficult to say exactly. I was working on it on and off between other things.

I know all the metal bits were cut and drilled the same day. Some were epoxied later and left to cure overnight. The plastic bits took about 1-2 days each to sculpt, then probably 1-2 days combined to make all the molds, casting, sanding, and putting everything together. Add a handful of hours for figuring things out or staring off and thinking, too. :D

I hadn't used resin before this, and it was only my second time machining metal, so there was a lot of learning to do along the way. By the time I got around to the feet though, I was finally able to plan, sculpt, and make the mold in the same day.

To be honest though, it's a lot of wasted time and effort for a character that won't get much screen time, but I wanted to learn these things, so it was worth it. :)
