Plesiosaur I built for a super 8 dinosaur lost island film I did a long time ago. Wire armature built up foam and slush cast skin
Ahhh, the days of Super-8, sometimes I miss it. They still make 8mm film in Europe, if I could afford the processing, I would dig out the old movie camera, lol. Great job on the model. Any surviving footage left?
Yep I've got footage, one of these days I'll try to Youtube a bunch of my early stuff.
That model was in a film called Island of Fear. I had some of it done...there's a Dimetrodon in it too. The guy was 'spose to have crash landed on an island in his hot air baloon (Sound familiar?) and he makes a raft to escape. The plesiosaur menaces him as he's making the raft on the beach.
Any pics of the dimetrodon?
Reminds me of the Crater lake monster.
A skinnier neck, but in the same family. I loved the heavier looking beast they did for Crater Lake Monster. One of my favs.
