I made this during my lunch breaks over a period of three months.

And very nice it is, too!

Is that a hard resin figure, or an animatable puppet?  Because if it is a puppet, it would be great to see it in action!

This and all your other sculptures are amazing!! What kind of clay do you use?

Thanks to all. This Cyclops was first sculpted in wax based clay, ( Van Aken or Roma) A plaster mould was made and the final model or puppet was cast in latex stuffed with Dacron. Acrylic fur was glued to the legs and then I scorched the fur with a heat gun to achieve the matted look. The eyes, teeth and club were fashioned from smooth cast resin. This model had an aluminium wire armature, so it could be animated but I have never attempted to. This was made several years ago. I still have the original plaster moulds, so if anyone is interested in buying a copy, send me a message. The model is approximately 14 inches/ 360mm tall.

Looks great! I am planning on doing a stop motion replica of the Cyclops as my final college project, so if you have any tips it would be much appreciated :)
