painted with beer!
Albums: Granny’s Dancing on the Table
Wow their awesome how did you make them. are they made out of cardboard, paper, plastic?
thank you :) They are made out of wood. Floorsweeper handle ^^ and a plastic tube
hey do you think you can make a tutorial on YouTube?
:) perhaps i could do that
Yea Daniel, make a tutorial, did you use local swedisch beer? :p They realy look great! cheers to that!
haha ofcourse! Have to use local ^^ Thanks Niels.
I was going to guess that they are pvc pipe, which is what I would probably have used. They look really good - that is a great job of marbling! Almost worth using beer on it instead of drinking it. How did beer help the painting?
Thank you nick! Yes I´ve used pvc before, but now I found really cheap wooden handles for brooms. :)I use beer with dry pigment. That alowws you to work for a long time if needed to change the structure of the marble. Its the starch in the beer that helps the pigment to stuck to the painted surface :)Then I use a linseed-oil mixture to great the gloss varnish and depth :)I use to be a decorative painter before I decided to work with my biggest passion full time :) (try to atleast) So this is an old teqnique and tradition for marble and woodimitation :)
these are amazing. really inspiring me to put more effort into my set design!
thank you :) means alot
