Sculpt in Roma Plastilena, to be cast in foam latex. It's a bit too bulky to cast in silicone, it would weigh to much and need a really stiff armature to be able to bend and support it's weight, so I'm going back to the old fashioned foam latex. The surface wrinkling you can get when foam is compressed will not be a problem with this guy, it will just add a level of detail. Design is a collaboration between director Peter Montgomery and myself. It will mostly walk on all fours, but it was simpler to make the mould in this standing position. The clay is destroyed now, it exists only as a 4 piece plaster mould until I finish the armature and cast it.
