Hello All.

Janette Goodey and I have been working for a few years on this little film.  The film is finally finished, and our trailer is up.  https://vimeo.com/116135030

By the way John, I would definately consider submitting it to KLIK! animation festival in Amsterdam. It hasn't been around as long as HAFF, but is taking over the game. Great atmosphere perfect screenings and awesome venue (eye filmmuseum)

This is absolutely wonderful. I look forward to seeing the film. An inspiration to us all. cheers. :)

The mud was a tray of soft modelling clay that I just dragged the stilts through, and then hit with a heat gun every frame to keep it shiny.  The bubbles and splats were a series of replacements cut out of clear plastic and then painted.

Quite simple, but super effective! Thanks very much for sharing.

Holy Gosh, this looks amazing! The concept work and atmosphere and lighting and animation, all totally rocks!

My favourite part is when the mud bubbled, even though it may seem like a little detail, I love little details like that! They get me excited!

Wow! At first I thought that wine glass was actually regular (non-stop-motion) footage blended with stop-motion in post production. Very smooth animation - not only wine, but all of it :)

I've uploaded my show reel as well.  I might throw my old films on line in the next few months...

Nice work, buddy. I like the animation, color palette, set design...Too many things to mention. Your "cinnamon roll" ear stylization is nice too.

Now that is how you put together a show reel!  All excellent work with a range of looks, but no weak shots.  Really nice secondary animation going on in that shot of Max walking.  It could have been perfectly adequate without some of that, but with it is just beautiful!

John, what a gorgeous repertoire! Wonderful animation, and very stylish art. There's so many nice incidental touches to make re-watching it rewarding, such as wind ruffling hair or a scarf, and the way you made rain-drops splash.

Such beautiful work! So inspiring.

looks amazing, hope I get the chance to see the whole thing!
