Hello, my name is Andrew Salfinger a stop motion animator from West Australia.

I need someone to make a  foam latex puppet for a film I'm working on called We walk alone. I have attached a photo of the puppets (the main puppet) called Geo, as you can see the puppet is a crossbreed of a human, rabbit and cat, with a white base color for the body with blue patches.

The puppet it self, I was thinking it should be made out of silicone since using a clay model would make it hard to keep the blue patches looking good on the puppet and by using foam latex it would keep them from moving or deforming on the body, for the puppets height would be around 220mm also the hair on the puppet can be silicone  as well. The puppet will be doing a lot of walking and a small bit of walking, wire is most likely not appropriate for the puppet since it would be doing a great amount of body movement. How the puppet will talk will just be a simple jaw movement up and down, since the puppet is shy so there is no need for complex moves with the mouth.

At this point the project does not have a budget, but we can make plans on a price your  happy to work with.

The time frame I'm looking for is if possible no longer then a month for the puppet to be made (this can change depending on your needs).

image of the puppet (yes the puppet is naked that's because I have a person that makes clothes)

With this said, I was wondering would anyone be interested in making this puppet for me ?

Thank you for your time and in reading my post, have a good day.

Andrew.

People will likely want to know things like:

Do you have a budget?

What kind of a time frame are you looking at?

How tall is the puppet?

Does the head hair need to be hair or can it be foam like the body fur?

How much running/walking/jumping is needed?  This will help decide if wire is appropriate for the legs in particular.

Hello Dave,

: At this point the project does not have a budget, but we can make plans on a price your    happy to work with.

: The time frame im looking for is if posable no longer then a month for the puppet to be made           (this can change depending on your needs).

: For the puppets hight I was thinking around 220mm.

: Yes the hair can be foam.

: The puppet will be doing a lot of walking and a small bit of walking, wire is most lickly not      appropriate for the puppet since it would be doing a great amount of body movement.

I spent 4 months on the last puppet for myself, which I'm happy to report that my mold turned out fine, but no way to do one for anyone else. I know Ron has built commissioned puppets, but he's probably NA...

I'm not your average, run of the mill narcissist,

 I'm THE narcissist!

LOL

Well, thank you guy, I found someone to help out.
