I know this was discussed probably few times, but I still can't figure it out. Cuz I am not a very tech guy. I need stepper motor slider or even stepper 3axis slider with a head, that I can purchase and connect right away to Dragonframe, without Arduino programing, modifications etc. Like Ditogear has. But not Ditogear)))) What option do you know or even tried? UNPACK, connect CABLES, run DRAGONFRAME and it works))) I found this one DIGISLIDER https://www.digislider.co.uk/collections/digislider-bundles/product... It says its compatible with Dragonframe.
EMOTIMO I don't know why, but I can't load to the online store and I am not sure, do they have a 2meter stepper motor slider? What you can advice?

I can't help you with recommendations on rigs, but as someone who is also not very techie I can tell you a bit about working out how it goes together. I have made my own moco rig and am just making a slider with pan/tilt/focus axes.
The way the kit goes together is like this: In your Dragonframe folder you will see Resources, and in there is a folder called Arc Motion Control. Inside that is one called DFMoco.pde. This is the Arduino sketch you use for linking DF with the slider. There is also a Readme file with instructions. You have to download the Arduino software (NB I think it's a legacy version 23), then you can upload the sketch (which is just a mini program). You don't need to know anything about programming Arduinos to make it work - I don't! But you should read the bits on the sketch where they ask you to choose your preferences, e.g. for which Arduino model you are using.
You can use an Arduino Uno for 4 axes or a Mega for up to 8 axes. This is just plugged into the USB port on the computer. It has a tiny memory, so when you upload and verify the sketch, it remembers it so you don't have to do it again. You can just open DF up and the thing works as per the last time.
The Arduino is connected to some drivers, little circuit boards that translate the pulses into power for the stepper motors, one for each stepper. They need a power supply unit with something like 24V/15A.
Finally the business end - the stepper motors. I am using NEMA 17 size steppers, some geared and some ungeared. The geared ones have the disadvantage of a little backlash in the gearbox, but I have not found this to present problems in practice, although I have not tried to reproduce exact movements.

It does exactly what you are asking about, and there are links to the materials. The only thing it does not have is the pan/tilt control, which would need to be made separately.
I think Emotimo have discontinued their TB3, which was a nice compact head, albeit with limited movement. Hendrikus de Vaan converted one of these to make his own slider a while ago. I am basing my own one on this type of head, as the worm gear is very effective and minimises backlash.
Dunno if this helps - it doesn't get you nearer to finding something off the shelf, but hopefully does explain how it all goes together.

Is your issue with the cost of a slider? Are you able to make one yourself?
I made a small 4-axis slider (Minimoco) recently, which was used in the recent Sparks music video by Joseph Wallace, Roos Mattaar and Aiden Whitten. It cost approximately 600 euros but it was built from scratch.
Previously I built a large 6-axis moco rig with jib arm (Maximoco), and am planning to build a version of the small one with a vertical axis (Midimoco).
None of these are for sale. I was thinking of producing some instructions on how to make them, but have not yet had time to do them.
If you are considering adding a focus axis to an existing setup, you will need to see if there is a channel available on the controller that you can take it from. Then you need a stepper motor driver (A4988 or 8825) and a Nema 17 motor. The motor will need to be mounted on an adjustable arm, and will require a small 0.8mod gear, which will engage onto a toothed plastic ring - all available on eBay. I will try to post a photo to show this.
I have just had a look at the Digislider. My comments are that the slider itself has plain bearings. Most of these have some play in them, and friction increases as the weight goes up. Ball bearings on a wider base would be better. Second, the unit is battery powered, which is not ideal for stopmo, so you would need a spare battery. Third, there only seems to be provision for 3 axes, so Focus is out. Lastly, I would use the Bluetooth connection for the Dragonframe keypad controller and have a wired setup for the moco rig.
I would be very grateful if you can publish or send me a list of the pieces you are talking about and the pictures.
I already have a gear and the ring to move the focus and there is nema 17.
Digislider told me that the controller has only 3 inputs and I have to buy a latro controller with 3 other ports, the additional controller costs 350 euros ...
I could do everything with arduino + 4A controller + nema 23 stepper
with Igus bar for the slider ... it's not difficult but it takes a long time
and I'm doing a movie and if I stop making the Moco stop the movie.
The igus slider is not the most but is of good quality, surely the bearings are better. I thought there was a possibility of connecting cables, I did not understand.
Which Slider Advice?
do you think the 14: 1 gear motors are right for pan tilt and slider?
for focus use a normal Nema 17 bipolar?
Here are some pics of the arrangement I have for my camera mount with focus control. The important thing is that you need to be able to adjust the focus motor. My solution is to use a long Fotomate slider with 2 moving pieces on it.
You can buy the short (cheaper) slider to get the second moving piece. In the pictures you may be able to see that I removed the gear for the focus one, so it could move easily, but kept the locking knob. The camera is mounted on the rear of the long section, with the second slider supporting all in the middle.
The whole thing is mounted on a right angle bracket with ARCA Swiss mounting:
