Hi all

I'm still clearing out the music cupboard here at Squid Towers. I've whacked a couple of short tunes on soundcloud, and as I said in my previous post, they're free to a good home. I'd much rather they were used than sat on my hard drive gathering er, dust.

Theme in A minor was just a demo for teaching yr 11's about ostinato. It's served it's purpose now.. aww.

Ruby Blue is a strange one.  Don't know where that came from. If you can use it, feel free.

Just let me know if you want to use 'em!

All of this music is great! If I use anything for my latest film I will certainly give you credit! As well as much thanks and recommendations to someone looking for a good composer. I tend to use parts of tracks and not the whole thing, as it fits better that way on a short film soundtrack for timing purposes. Definitely impressed with what you have on offer. As an independent animator, finding music that fits a film is the hardest part of the entire process.

Do you have Ruby Blue in a stereo version? Also interested in The End of All Things and Floob. I love the dialtone motif that runs through Ruby Blue and Floob! There is a phone sequence in my film and it fits perfectly. Thank you thank you!

Hi Pram Maven films! Thank you so much for your kind words! I can sort out a stereo version of Ruby for you, no probs. let me know what format you'd prefer. Floob is by a fictitious Martian rock band called The Ogees. I've got tons of their tracks.. It was part of an animation project that never quite got off the ground. I'll have to talk to my mate Rich, see if we're going to use them anymore.. The end of all things was named after a pub in North Yorkshire.. Couldn't resist writing a piece based on that! Feel free to use it! (Just give me a credit..!) thanks again! Nick

Hmmm, a high quality MP3 or .wav file would work. It's kind of funny, I used to really like films with mono tracks, but ever since learning to mix digital audio, I've liked it kind of panned out a bit. Easier to have a musical swell during dialog without stepping on it frequence-wise (I haven't quite mastered working with EQ's yet).

If Floob is in negotiations, I will refrain from using that one and try a different track. This is all really nice though, I hope you get some work as a professional composer. Ruby made me think of all sorts of visuals (and more if I close my eyes while listening :)
