Just ran across this guy's YouTube channel and happened to stumble onto this video. I've never heard of anybody doing it this way before. i don't know if I'm totally sold on the effectiveness - it doesn't look so much like motion blur to me as some kind of trailing effect of semi-transarent images -but this might be a good starting point to build from - maybe apply Real Smart Motion Blur over it or something, or just hand-blur the extra frames or something.
Anyway, thought I'd post it here for your consideration:
If only my camera hadn't suffered a usb port failure, this week I would have been living life 1/8 of an inch at a time and trying to animate that squirrel! Ah, well . . .if Nikon is playing fair, I can start next month . . .
