Hi all,

We just bought a new Mac with OS high sierra. We have sent a shout out to DF tech folks, but they're being very slow with a response. I'm wondering if someone here has had similar issues and can help.

Things that work fine:

Dragonframe opens correctly

Shows us our recent scene list

Shows us our frames shot

Things that don't work:

When we open our unconformed scene (any scene that was created on the old computer) the frame count is fine (say 400) and if we scroll through we can see them all. BUT it only allows us to access the first 48 frames. So, the frames are there, but it won't allow us to have them in full view

Our x-sheet is missing. It is replaced by an x-sheet that is blank and only goes to 48 frames. The frame count can't be changed

The audio is missing. We can reload the audio but again only 48 frames of it is visible, the rest we can hear.

When we try to save the file it no longer asks us if we want to conform. Instead it just logs out and when we log back in, the same thing happens, no x-sheet no audio

Also, we keep getting this error message: There was an error saving the take.xml file. Please make sure the permissions are set correctly and the disc is still present.

We have no known permissions and we have no disc (we downloaded it off the Internet).

Anyone ever had this happen? Thanks in advance!!

Emily

Is it possible that it is still in trial mode? 48 frames is I think all that it allows you with this. Perhaps you need to check that you have entered your registration details correctly?

Just a thought, I am no expert....

I think you need to contact DF when you move your license from one computer to another. I think I recall reading that in the license agreement.
Can I transfer a license to a different machine?
Yes, you can move your license to a different computer. In the Help menu of the application you will find “Deactivate License…”. Once you deactivate the license, you may activate it on another computer.
If your original computer is no longer available, use our Find Your License page to get a list of activated machines and a link to deactivate them.
