It's Ray's 92nd birthday today!  I have had the honor of meeting him on several occasions as I am sure some of you have.  I thought it would be a good idea to use this space to post any photos that you may have taken with him at a convention, book signing or other occasion.

The following photos were taken the day Ray and Diana Harryhausen came to visit the London 'Corpse Bride' studio in 2004.  He toured the sets and different departments then met the crew for tea!  An exceptional day!

"The 7th Voyage WILL eventually be remade and it's up to us to make sure that when that happens... it's done the RIGHT way."

Which is to say, it should not be remade at all. It was already made, once, and magnificently.

Here is a pic we had at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, Ca. when his shorts DVD was released.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAY!

Mine is just a few days away.

Hey! I was at Dark Delicacies that day! Great shop!

Yo Ron, you are doing the only NEW Sinbad film that counts.Just thought I'd heap a bit more pressure on ya! I first saw 7th Voyage on a small black and white television in the early to mid 60's as a child and it still grabbed me by the throat and wouldn't let me go. It wasn't until the late 70's that I got to see it on a "big" screen in color. It was in re-release for a couple weeks at a small theatre. I was even more dumbfounded! It is probably the best fantasy film of all time-considering it's impact and staying power.

But can't wait for the new film! Let's hope it's one of many more to come to re-utilize the Dynamation (style) process.

Thanks again Ray, Happy Birthday!
