I finally (and still on time for Halloween) finished my Halloween themed animation. For years I wanted to make one, this year I had the focus and an idea. But it was quite a struggle I can tell you I was perhaps a bit over ambitious in what I wanted and I had some problems with the clay staining the paper background. Furthermore I noticed some focus issues when I was finished animating. The hand failed at a point, a finger broke and the clay cracked at a certain point. But .. I still think it is a nice little clip to watch and I learned a lot making it. So any comments or pointers for further improvement or even maybe small compliments all comments are welcome!
The timing feels really slow to me. It feels like it's almost animated on 4s. I would suggest speeding it up by a factor of 2, or even 4 in some areas.
@Brandon. I shot at 12s but wanted it to be a bit slow to get a feeling of tension so I don't agree :)
