Hah! I looked through about a dozen early issues, will probably check out some more later.
I used to read those, way back when there wasn't much else. (apparently there were a couple of other mags trying to jump on the bandwagon but I never saw them at the newsstand.) A lot of recycling of the same photos and painful puns from issue to issue, but I liked how it introduced kids (like me) to the classics of the German silent cinema and thirties horrors. I must have bought my cut-down 8mm prints of The Lost World and Nosferatu from ads in the back pages, after saving for months.
