Does Anyone know about the Aesthetic process of the BBC Animated Tales Series?

Hello I have been doing quite a bit of research in the last three months in regards to various techniques and styles of stop motion armatures. One of the puppet armatures that I have always been drawn to are the stop mo Russian productions from Christmas films that was produced by BBC in the 1990's. I have searched far and wide all over the internet about any type of surgical and aesthetic procedures of how the puppets were made, unfortunately I have come up with zip. If anyone has any general or specific information of these Russian Puppet animations from BBC, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, look forward in hearing from you soon.

I don't think anybody knows much about Christmasfilms productions. I know there's technically no Iron Curtain anymore, but they're buried deep in the heart of Russia, and information doesn't seep out of that region. I'm afraid about all you'll be able to find is what's included on the DVD in the form of special features and the smattering of rumors that come up when you google Christmasfilms. Really though I doubt the armatures are much different from western types.

Definetley right in saying so. What I have done is  visited some of the youtube BBC Animated Tales Channels like Persepeone, The Tempest, Winters Tale etc in which all of these are the stop motion animation versions of the Animated Tales. I have had a chance to study closely the aesthetic makeup of the puppets, and most of the them look as if their facial material is that of fabric, almost like that of a Doll Fabric Puppet. They really do not seem to appear to have been made out of the plasticine, latex, etc, that is usually seen in all of the stop motion productions. If you happen to hear of any wind of the like of the making of these films, please keep me informed.

Thank you very much for your help, Have fun creating!
