Hi Guys

I am in production of Dan of the Dead, a stop motion Zombie film.

Synopsis:-

Peace is shattered and chaos reigns when Zombies strike in this apocalyptic thriller!! Dan, a recovering alcoholic, and his wife Dawn, are celebrating their first anniversary when Dawn is savagely attacked in their home and is turned into  a zombie!!! Dan seeks solace in his old friend... whisky!!! Being chased out of his house by the infested creatures, he finds shelter in the nearest tube station, where he meets other survivors. Commander Bent, a loose cannon and sole survivor of squadron 69, Calvin, a computer geek,  Anna, a feisty kick boxer and Ted, a professional gambler. This is an action packed adventure where a group of disfunctional people have to work together to fight the undead. Can they stay alive? Can they stop the apocalypse? Sit back with a glass of Whisky and find out!

Looks awesome Peter, I really like the way you and Darren are combining your styles. I love seeing a glimpse of the storyboards too, great promo vid!

Looking forward to whats coming next.

Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I was unsure whether the 2 styles would work. But as its a comedy, it works brilliantly. I do all the comedy "alive" characters with lots of expression etc. Daz does all the "dead" characters as gruesome as possible. The 2 really compliment each other. Well I think so anyway. We'll soon see when I get them both on set.

Lots more coming up soon. I'm waiting for the arrival of my motion control rigs. All exciting stuff. Just need to get funny graffiti in the background of the set now :-)

Thanks again for your comments Jeff

Hi all, i'm casting some new hands for Dan today. He's wore out his old ones. I thought i'd redo the mould too, here is the new mould cast in resin. The mould is much better than the last and should hold out for many casts in the future

Nice! Looking forward to seeing it. How did you make the sets?

Cheers. I made all the sets by hand. I printed the tiles. I've got a blog with everything in more detail http://www.stopmotionzombies.blogspot.com
