Years ago, there was a stop motion capture option in Premiere, but they took it away.
Someone recently asked me if you could do stop motion with the Adobe suite, and my knee-jerk reaction was no. But things change and sometimes I miss out on what's new. Any ideas?
I took a look at the capture video tab in Premiere CS5 (I don't have CC on this computer) but it seems to be about grabbing from tape, not live. If live grabs were possible anywhere, that's where I'd expect it to be. But taking just one frame might not be possible.
I saw a tutorial online about capturing single frame with Adobe Premiere Elements, but I don't think that's included with CC?
