I found this promo online yesterday, and wanted to know if anyone had any more information on the da Vinci 1.0 Blue. The price is right, but not if the quality isn't there.

the work volume is ok. The printer in reviews looks basic to poor. Many recommend flashing with open source firmware to get most out of it. If i would be in your position i would buy a CTC (makerbot clone) from EBAY. It's a little more expensive but it is trustworthy. If you do not have the money, try a clone of Prusa or other models which are by far better than DaVInci 1.0 A. Also the fact that it is clossed source, poor support for software and other cheap components make it a 3'rd choice printer for me.
